Downsizing
Transitioning to a smaller footprint can be a challenge.
At Finding Home we understand the physical and emotional impact this has on a homeowner, particularly for Seniors. Let us come alongside in the process of what to take and what to let go.
We organize the packers, cleaners, movers, waste runs, as well as donation and sales of unwanted items.
We would be happy to do this for you, or your parents.
Some praise from our clients:
“Jill helped my parents move from an overstuffed condo into Origin - a seniors care facility in Spring Creek, Canmore. She helped my parents to realize that there were many things that they just didn’t need in their lives anymore. As a result, their new space is airy, open and uncluttered. Jill has a wonderful way with people. She communicated clearly, always did the best she could, gave all of us individualized attention, and became a great friend in the process. Her bill was very fair and she sold quite a few items for my parents online which helped to offset the costs. I would not hesitate to recommend her for any sort of downsizing or moving project that you or a family member may have. She made our lives so much easier during a difficult and stressful project. Thank you, Jill!”

“My wife and I were faced with moving from our 1600 sq. Ft condo yo an 800 sq ft unit in a seniors residence. Fortunately we were advised to talk to Jill Rempel about how she could assist. Assist us she did!! In the downsizing that was necessary, providing the manyboxes and assisting with packing ready for the movers, contracting with the movers and orchestrating the move on moving day, such that everything went smoothly. She helped with unpacking and had all the empty boxes moved out the next day. She also scouted out 3 pieces of furniture and a rug that fit our new space. In summary Jill knows her way around moving, makes things happen on schedule and is very pleasant to work with. A bonus is that her husband, Leroy, is handy at many things and did an excellent job hanging our pictures in the new place.”
